THE SOLE-FUL RULES OF OUR FEET-URED COMMUNITY

Welcome to RateMyFeet (RMF), where the feet compete and the votes are neat! As the legal eagles who keep this app on its toes, we've put our foot down on some non-negotiable rules. Read carefully—we're not just footnotes!

1. AUTHENTICATION & ELIGIBILITY

Your Feet, Your Feat: By uploading pictures, you solemnly swear (or affirm) that those are YOUR feet in the frame. No borrowing feet from friends, celebrities, or that random person at the beach. Your feet, your responsibility!

18+ Only: This app is strictly for adults. We check ID faster than a bouncer at an exclusive club. If you're under 18, please step away from the app until your birthday candles reach the proper count.

2. CONTENT STANDARDS

Face the Facts (Or Rather, Don't): Keep faces out of your photos—we're here for the feet, not the face! Faces and feet should maintain a healthy social distance in separate photos.

Keep It Clean: Our community appreciates well-groomed feet in clean environments. This isn't "Dusty Feet Quarterly"—put your best foot forward!

Quality Matters: Clear, well-lit photos get more votes. Dark, blurry images of what might be feet (or might be potatoes) don't help anyone.

3. PROHIBITED CONTENT (ZERO TOLERANCE)

We have absolutely NO tolerance for:

  • Underage Content: Any content featuring or suggesting minors will be immediately removed, reported to authorities, and the account permanently banned. We don't walk the line on this—we stand firmly against it.
  • Sexual Content: Keep it PG! This is NOT a fetish platform. Suggestive poses, inappropriate props, or sexual contexts will be removed faster than you can say "podiatrist."
  • Violent Content: No injuries, blood, harm, or threatening imagery. We're here to celebrate feet, not scare the living daylights out of them.
  • Offensive Material: Hateful symbols, slurs, discriminatory content, or anything that mocks identifiable groups is strictly prohibited. Our community stands (on two feet) for respect.
  • Misleading Content: No AI-generated feet, photoshopped toes, or digitally enhanced arches. Authenticity is our arch support!

4. ENFORCEMENT

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

  1. Content removal
  2. Permanent ban (the ultimate boot)
  3. Legal action where required by law (yes, we'll bring in the big legal boots)

5. REPORTING

See Something? Say Something! DM us faster than you'd pull your foot away from a LEGO on the floor.

THE TALE OF TWO SOLE-MATES: THE RMF ORIGIN STORY

In the sweltering summer of 2025, two friends with a passion for podiatric appreciation hatched RateMyFeet (RMF) during an ice cream break. One, a UX designer with podiatry knowledge, the other a coding genius with dancer's feet, united by a mission: celebrate foot diversity in a non-weird way!

After convincing skeptical investors it wasn't a fetish app ("It's democratic footocracy!"), RMF stepped into the digital world. Now it stands as the premier platform where foot enthusiasts vote, compare, and put their best foot forward—literally.
